Shanghai: Moderately advanced layout of hydrogen based energy!

On January 9th, the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Shanghai New Energy Storage Demonstration Leading Innovative Development Work Plan (2025-2030)", focusing on green alcohol and green ammonia, and forming four major hydrogen based energy base layouts in the future in the Lingang New Area, Jiading District, Chemical Industry Zone, and Waigaoqiao area. Green Alcohol continues to improve its refueling capacity for shipping, while expanding its production capacity outside the city and leveraging local resources as a "ballast stone". Green ammonia focuses on the co firing of coal and electricity, laying out green ammonia demonstration factories in chemical industrial areas to promote production cost reduction. Combined with the construction and upgrading of thermal power projects, green ammonia co firing demonstrations are carried out to gradually increase the co firing ratio and explore new ways for large-scale renewable energy consumption.
