Extreme H racing car is ready to go
London - The FIA Extreme H World Cup is the world's first hydrogen powered off-road racing event, and today marks an important milestone as Spark Racing Technology completes the production of its 10 Pioneer 25 cars.
The Pioneer 25 is designed to meet the strict safety and performance standards of the International Automobile Federation, representing the pinnacle of innovation in hydrogen powered racing. These cars are equipped with cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cells that only emit water vapor, highlighting the series' firm commitment to sustainable development. These vehicles adopt a dual motor all wheel drive system, which can provide up to 400kW (550hp) of power and accurately and quickly cope with the most difficult terrains.

The car is designed and manufactured by Spark Racing Technology, equipped with Symbio's hydrogen fuel cell, and has undergone an intensive testing program equivalent to three seasons of racing, preparing for its debut season.
Symbio provides a 75kW hydrogen fuel cell, replacing batteries as the primary energy source. Hydrogen fuel cells provide power for battery packs produced and supported by Fortescue ZERO. Hydrogen fuel cells represent a technological revolution and are now becoming a common reality. This technology is already being used behind the scenes in Extreme E to provide energy for vehicle batteries.
The peak power of Pioneer 25 is 400kw (550hp), capable of accelerating a 2200 kg, 2.4-meter-wide race car from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, and achieving a slope of up to 130%.
Each Pioneer 25 participating in the Extreme H race includes a universal standardized parts package from Spark Racing Technology. The open area of the team is the hydrogen fuel cell, which provides an important opportunity to test this technology and design body elements to replicate the appearance of everyday models.
With the completion of production, the countdown to the FIA Extreme H World Cup has officially begun. Fans around the world can expect a groundbreaking series that combines cutting-edge technology, sustainable innovation, and high adrenaline competition. More detailed information about the competition will be announced in the coming months.
